Exercise with Heart
Movement is the other key element of feeling fabulously healthy.
I used to exercise out of fear of getting fat. I have never been seriously overweight, but I would flog my body daily with Victoria’s Secret models in the forefront of my mind out of fear and hatred of what I saw in the mirror. After I burned myself out with fatigue and adrenal exhaustion, I realized that exercising was yet another opportunity to choose love. Now I move my body in a loving way each day. No more pushing, flogging, and trying to whip my body into shape with fear in my mind. I love and accept myself unconditionally, and I move because I love the way it makes me feel. Not because I hate my body and want to fix and change it. There’s a big difference.
